You can read about many people who made it big starting with a small business; why not start one yourself? Think beyond self imposed limitations and do it. You’re going to have to be dedicated and work hard if you want your business to succeed, but owning your own business is the most common path to financial freedom.

I was looking through the opportunities here on offer and what is really exciting is that they can apply worldwide. I live in South Africa, but am interested in a computer training franchise, and I see there are some listed here that offer worldwide franchise possibilities. The global village is real and even though I am on another continent this site can really help. Thanks.

Going global requires a serious investment of time and money. Companies without financial resources cannot make international deals. Packaging and instructions need to be redesigned for multiple languages. It also takes effort to build a small business into a world-class operation. Regulations have to be followed and payment methods have to be put in place.

Great point. Before starting a Franchise, always check the national/local regulations. Ask what type of licenses you will need for your business.
