Working to survive

The masses battle the traffic, suppressing road rage, or being a victim of it, knowing that if the traffic lights don’t go with them, they are going to be the victims of boss rage too! Why do they do it? At the end of every month there are bills to be paid. The car that battles the traffic with you has a price tag, the newspaper that you read costs a buck or two. There’s a mortgage, school fees groceries, the list is endless …. And the working hours become endless to notch up the dollars to pay. Nowhere on this treadmill is thee time or room to wonder if the work is fulfilling or fun. One mustn’t think too much otherwise it becomes more of a nightmare than it already is. Are you counting the days until you get paid? If this is a picture of your career and your working life, it is time to take a good hard look at where you spend eight hours of your day every day.
