1.       Do Your Research – Your first step toward becoming one of the top small business franchises is research. You want to learn about your market, specifically what markets are available to you, which franchises are popular within that market, and what aspects of those franchises have proven successful or unsuccessful.     I think one of the major things someone looking to purchase a franchise is they have to be willing to do exactly what the franchisor says. All too often entrepreneurs want to attempt to improve the established system and “do it their way”. I think if you want to do it your way, you should not get a franchise.

    The other tips are great as well!
