Take your time Answering these questions:
Who is your target customer?
Does the business require licensing or other certifications?
What type of overhead will you have?
What is the most effective means of advertising your business?
How recognizable is your product/service?
How long do you estimate it will be before your realize a profit from your new business?
What sort of support system will you have? (Franchise businesses often prove to be hands-down winners here.)
Do your due diligence and you will find that business opportunities abound.
