Customers should see from the get-go that your product solves a problem they have. This may seem obvious, but there are many entrepreneurs who become enamored of the technical sophistication of their product that they expect consumers to have the same appreciations. But that is hardly the case. A homemaker, for example, is unlikely to understand the inner workings of a household appliance; all she wants to know is “Will all these features you mentioned make the microwave oven function properly without breaking down right away?”
