Budgeting is a very vital part of goal-setting for the business that can get rid of confusion and misunderstanding in the organization.

Budgeting is more than putting numbers into your spreadsheet after you have made your business plan.  It is distinctively not an activity to be done only for a few days and then totally disregard afterwards.  Instead, it should be part of a continuing planning course that constantly monitors and measures all of the business functions.

Purchase an Existing Business or Opted to Buy a New One?

Is it affordable?  A new business will often cost more than an existing business of the same type. An existing business may be the only way to enter the industry.

Location is an important factor.  In some communities, certain types of business can no longer be built and an existing business will be the only way to enter the business world.  Proximity to your home will also be a factor.
